Alphagan Z Eye Drops contain the active ingredient, brimonidine tartrate and is used to treat glaucoma.
Glaucoma is a condition of the eye where the pressure inside the eye (intra-ocular) is too high and if not treated the optic nerves can be damaged leading to loss of peripheral vison and eventually total blindness.
Alphagan Z helps to reduce intra-ocular pressure to normal levels with continued use required for long term maintenance.
One drop of Alphagan Z is applied to the affected eye(s) three times daily. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Alphagan Z and replace them no sooner than 15 minutes later.
