Azopt Eye Drops contain the active ingredient, brinzolamide and is used to treat glaucoma.
Glaucoma is a condition of the eye where the pressure inside the eye (intra-ocular) is too high and if not treated the optic nerves can be damaged leading to loss of peripheral vison and eventually total blindness.
Azopt helps to reduce intra-ocular pressure to normal levels with continued use required for long term maintenance.
One drop of Azopt is applied to the affected eye(s) twice daily (morning and evening). If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying Azopt and replace them no sooner than 15 minutes later.
