Anoro Ellipta is a long-term treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a group of lung diseases that include chronic asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. Smoking and inhalation of workplace chemicals are the most common cause of lung damage found in COPD.
The lungs are inflamed and damaged with symptoms typically seen as shortness of breath at rest, wheezing, chronic cough, and production of thick mucus. COPD is very limiting and prevents a person from being able to pursue normal activities. Anoro Ellipta helps open the airways making it easier to breathe.
Each pack of Anoro Ellipta contains enough medication for 30 days’ treatment.
