Depo-Medrol contains the anti-inflammatory corticosteroid, methylprednisolone 40mg/ml in a suspension for injection. It is used in the treatment of a broad range of conditions where there is severe inflammation such as rheumatoid arthritis, severe asthma, dermatitis, allergies and to prevent organ rejection after transplantation.
Depo-Medrol may be injected into joint or soft tissue, into muscle or directly into inflamed skin lesions that have been unresponsive to other treatments.
