Voltaren D tablets contain the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, diclofenac 50mg in a dispersible tablet that may be swallowed whole or first dispersed in water, to make it easier to swallow.
Diclofenac relieves pain and inflammation in acute musculoskeletal conditions such as neck or back pain, muscle strains, sprains, or tendonitis. Voltaren D may also be used to treat period and ovarian pain.
Voltaren D works by blocking the production of certain chemicals that cause inflammation. Voltaren D is an anti-inflammatory medication that also has anti-pyretic (fever lowering) properties.
Voltaren D tablets are best taken immediately after food, either swallowed whole or dispersed in water up to three times daily as required for relief of pain and inflammation.
