Pimafucort ointment contains a topical anti-inflammatory, corticosteroid and antifungal and antibacterial to treat inflamed and itchy skin conditions.
Pimafucort contains the corticosteroid, Hydrocortisone to reduce pain, inflammation, and itch; the antifungal, natamycin to control fungal growth and the antibacterial agent, neomycin to kill and prevent any bacterial overgrowth in the affected area.
A small amount of ointment is applied to the affected area two to four times daily depending on the severity of the condition being treated for a period of up to 14 days. If the skin condition is not resolved in this time further advice should be sought.
