Mino Tabs contain minocycline 50mg, a broad-spectrum antibiotic in the tetracycline class for treating a wide range of bacterial infections including the treatment and prevention of acne.
Typically taken immediately after food twice daily Mino Tabs are used to kill the bacteria responsible for causing acne. Minocycline inhibits the ability of bacteria to make proteins necessary for their survival which prevents their replication in the body thus halting infection.
In addition to treating acne, Mino Tabs are effective against bacteria that cause skin, respiratory, eye infections and is also used in managing meningitis.
Mino Tabs are not suitable if you are pregnant, intend becoming pregnant or are breastfeeding.
